so kiss me and smile for me

my body has finally succumb to the evilness of flu. i decided not to work myself out and took an MC though i was really having the intention of going to work despite it all. what for work so hard?? aiyo.

i was having such a good, good dream when my colleague sent an sms to me.. was really fustrated but he meant well. oh well~~

anyhows, crossed the borders to KL with D over the last long weekend - which i argued and fought for a day's leave to be approved by kitty. simply had to go somewhere, if not anywhere!

i think i didn't think much abt all the dangers of going to m'sia.. i juz decided to pack and go and how very last min with D calling me on wed night: "Jac! i juz managed to get a room in KL! you coming??"

now thinking back, it really was a dangerous place to be in. still, i feel very secure with gung-ho D. she scolded off 2 potential robbers and argued no end with a cabby who tried to over-charge us for bringing us to the bus terminal.

"IF THAT'S THE WAY MALAYSIANS BEHAVE, NO WONDER NOBODY IS COMING TO MALAYSIA!" she said to the cabby! and slammed the door shut.

thank goodness we're immd boarding the bus back to sg. if not, surely got beaten up after the cabby called for back-ups.

and so we took the 7 hours ride back to clean and nice Singapore with only a 20 mins break and no traffic jam. imagine if there is a jam!

my image of malaysia has worsened after this trip. not going to go back there unless it's to melacca - which still in my memory, is a beautiful place.

after every trip, i still realise i prefer singapore the most! even though the standard of living is getting attrocious. 5% inflation for goods, hike of transport fare, 5 bucks per entry to the gantry of expressways! etc. etc! is the government trying to make us die working or wad???

sigh.
