so kiss me and smile for me

so many days have passed since my last post! and it still feels like recently. anyway.. i was back visiting m'sia again (3 weekends in nov!) but this time is to attend his best friend/uni room-mate's wedding..

my first time going to Penang in like 16 / 17 years as well.. he told me he grew up in a kampong.. though i knew he had shifted out like many years ago.. anyway, my expectations was very low.. preparing to feed myself to the mosquitoes.. end up his house is bigger & nicer than mine! wth.. his dad made a lot of those DIY fountains & stuff (heard that he always goes to some forest or wad to dig stones & dried barks to make fountains & house his bonsai.. omg)

anyway.. the whole house is filled with plants.. even the bathroom.. though it's damn pretty.. but there's always some sort of flying insect around the plants when I shower.. damn scared that they will sting me!

on the way to fetch the bride!! shld be my 1st time fetching the bride.. cos he's part of the 'heng dai'. the bride is from malacca and obviously can't travel there to fetch her.. so the bride & family booked a chalet (m'sia chalet is damn small). They made the brothers wear disposable panties with alphabets forming words.. and make them turn around to give a sluttish smile..

i stood away from the rest of the 'games' as it's damn hot and squeezy. heard that they make the bridegroom wear an apron with grapes hanging from it (even his *coughs* part) and make his brothers lick and eat it from there.

anyway.. the bride came from a traditional nyona family (juz in time for me to match the show with reality) hahaha.. and so it was.. they have damn a lot of traditions sia.. and the bloody sun is giving me a headache.. intially i thought they came out alrd.. damn happy! who knows they say wad bride not married off at her own house.. so have to repeat the ritual 3 times! i fell asleep on the car and the whole thing lasted for an hour (from the time i fell asleep). *faints* hard time being the bride and groom.. so damn hot with their wedding costumes.

while there, i also attended the annual wad botanical wad show.. for his dad to get more insipiration...

& after the wedding, we drove back to KL to catch a flight.. & i spotted a super big x'mas tree in KLCC and of cos.. i have to take tons of pics with it.

anyway.. didn't have much time shopping la.. only bought presents for kong's birthday & ate 龙的传人 twice this trip!! once with his auntie & family & it was their treat.. so ordered a lot of those side dishes that we never got to try! omg.. damn nice.. i love 龙的传人!

i can't believe i'll miss the whole EPIC sales despite going to m'sia 3 weekends in a month.. but i heard charles will have to go to KL for a work trip soon! and that means i dun care how.. but tagging along with him!

i shall go dig for pics of the wedding dinner from his phone later!

his KL and Ipoh friends are here over the weekend! brought them ard to shop & stuff.. funny how they find our stuff to be cheaper & we find theirs cheaper.. but i realise.. branded stuff is really cheaper here la.
